YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

An EESV engineer will support a multiple platforms to validate a system is implemented according to the specifications and is performant to a level which satisfies customer expectations.

Creation of system level tests and execution of these tests on a bench, HIL setup or on vehicles as required. Performing these tests onsite or in the field with new software releases inline with the platform milestones.

Perform tuning when a system implementation is not performant to the expected level.

Deliver high quality reporting of the results in the appropriate software lifecycle tracking systems.

Troubleshooting electric and hydraulic parts of different systems to root cause new issues to support cross functional teams with system improvements and development.

Support field validation team with data acquisition on the test fleet while undergoing acceptance testing onsite or in the field.

Give your input to peer groups on severity (potential customer impact) of new issues to support planning for issue resolution.

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or equal by experience.

Experience with network analysis tooling (Vector CANalyzer, CANape, ETAS INCA).

Knowledge of electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems including reading of electrical and hydraulic diagrams.

Knowledge of industry standard communication protocols. CAN, LIN, XCP, etc.

Knowledge of Data Acquisition techniques and hardware such Vector GL or HBM QuantumX for example is desirable.

Capable of travelling to worldwide test locations for short to medium term periods (2-3 weeks)

A background within agriculture, construction or heavy goods vehicles is desirable.

Languages: English is essential. A willingness to learn the basics of other foreign languages is desirable.
