As a Development Logistics Responsible at Melexis, you will guarantee internal and external customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and consistent communication and support the Project Managers and Development Engineers in all logistic aspects of the development process.

More specifically, you will

• Ensure the logistical needs of the customer are anticipated, met and communicated in a professional way;
• Drive the logistical activities between Melexis, raw material producers and other subcontractors in order to ensure the OTD (On Time Delivery on budget and on scope for the project) during the development phase;
• Plan and follow-up the industrialization and production process to ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction;
• Optimally use an Oracle ERP system for data processing, including: production planning, project set-up, customer orders and order acknowledgements, etc.;
• Keep close collaboration with Project Managers, Development team and Supply chain team to ensure the smooth production process and take part in preparing the production documentation;
• Be actively working with the manufacturing team of the respective production site in order to ensure the material is processed in a timely and precise manner;
• Take part in internal projects with purpose to optimize certain processes;
• Prepare and organize the transfer to planners.

• Bachelor degree in economics, business administration or engineering;
• Genuinely interest in working with numerical data;
• Background in Supply Chain/Logistics and knowledge of international transportation and customs regulations are an asset;
• Working experience with ERP systems is an asset;
