Wequity is a start-up company based in Belgium that provides real-time ESG data by using pre-trained AI models, to identify sustainable investments. We’re looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including big data, artificial intelligence (natural language processing); the list goes on and is growing every day. As a data scientist, you will work on the development of our analytics solutions which combines big data, natural language processing and software development. We need our engineers to be versatile, display teamwork qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. Minimal Qualifications

- You are familiar with Python, SQL and Machine Learning.

- You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and a Master in AI, or equivalent experience.

- You are able to work in an organised and autonomous way.

- You are flexible and willing to work on a variety of things.

Preferred Qualifications

- You have 3-5 years of experience in Data science & AI (Natural Language Processing).

- You are able to quickly learn, understand and use new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions.

- You have experience with cloud-based services (Docker, Google Cloud, ...).

- You have experience in communicating and collaborating effectively with team members.

- You have experience in project/team management.

- You have some basic knowledge/awareness in finance.

- You have experience with source code management (GitHub), ticketing systems (Jira), and other collaboration tools.

- You have experience in solutions that leverage AI frameworks and methods.

- You are hard-working, structured and organised.

- You have Entrepreneurial drive.
