Located by the River Dender in East Flanders, SYRAL Aalst employs 380 employees and has 137 years of experience in cereals processing. The production site consists of a wheat and sugar department, a CHP and since 2008 also a bio-ethanol plant;
Its main competence is processing cereals to basic ingredients for the food & non-food industries.
The plant is located in the very heart of the city and has built a good relationship with the city council and the residents.
