The AB InBev Best Beer Competition is your opportunity to showcase your team working skills and creativity whilst working towards the chance of winning some fantastic prizes along the way. It also adds a practical dimension to your studies and the all-important commercial awareness so many employers seek.
How do you enter?
Simple. All you need to do is to get together a team of 2-4 students and design a new beer for your university and APPLY through this website or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once you've applied you'll have until the entry deadline of 8 February 2012 to submit a project plan and the eight best project plans from each country (the UK and Belgium) which satisfy the competition criteria will be selected to participate in a regional heat where you will present your ideas. Both heats will take place in February 2012 in the UK and Belgium and at each heat there is €3,000 to be won.
The top two teams from each heat will be invited to the Grand Final in Belgium which will take place on 3 April 2012. At the Grand Final the four teams will present their ideas and a winning team will be announced and win €2,500 for themselves and a further €1,500 for charity!

Entrants must be university students at a UK or Belgium university. All team members must be from the same university.
*Teams participating from the UK will be paid in Pounds Sterling.

To enter, students should form a team of between two and four people (the "Team"). The students must be the ones who complete all aspects of their entry and it must be original.
Multiple Teams from one university can submit an entry, but:
a Team may only submit one entry
a student may not be involved in more than one Team
all Team members must be university students
it is likely that only one Team will be selected from each university and AB InBev reserves the right to exercise its discretion in this way
by entering the competition the Teams confirm that they will be available to attend, if selected, the heats on 24 February 2012 in Belgium and 29 February 2012 in the UK (the "Heats") and final in Belgium on 3 April 2012 (the "Grand Final"). For the avoidance of doubt, Teams from UK universities will not be asked to attend the Heat in Belgium, and the Teams from Belgium universities will not be asked to attend the Heat in the UK, although if successful in reaching the Grand Final final, all successful Teams will have to attend Belgium. AB InBev retains the right to disqualify a Team, and select another Team if any of its members is unable to attend the Grand Final.
