We are demonstrating and making the Network design of IP products that we position as 3-Play, Multi-Services Edge, Mobile (Backhauling and LTE) Solutions for all major Telecom Operators in EMEA Region (Europe, Middle-East and Africa). We are in contact with the R&D, the Project Managers, the Solution and Marketing Team, the local Account Teams and the Support teams. We are an international team of more than 40 Engineers located in 7 different countries, all working at EMEA level. We are active in a growing and challenging business that is in constant evolution. Goal: To provide IP/MPLS technical expertise on the basis of the ALU (Alcatel-Lucent) IP product portfolio Your main responsibilities will include: •(Technical) Pre-sales, engineering and professional service support for the IPD (IP Division) products and solutions. You validate the IP network solutions by staging and demonstrating them in ALU labs or at customer site. You convince the customer technical representatives that ALU can provide them with the best technical solution •Post-sales, engineering and professional service support for the IPD products and solutions.You define and specify detailed network design solutions, based on the Alcatel-Lucent IP product portfolio according to the High-Level Designed made by our Consulting Team Your main challenges will be: Because the role is an integral part of the EMEA IPCC (IP Competence Centre), the ability to work as part of a distributed team is critical. The role will require international travel, sometimes at short notice. A flexible approach to work, especially when communicating with other Alcatel-Lucent groups, is essential, as is the ability to thrive under pressure Interested? | Nodige voorkennis | Technical background and experience:
•Masters in Engineering •and/or 3 Years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP. Extra Assets: •ALU SRA, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification •Detailed understanding of IP/MPLS technologies Social Skills: •Customer focus attitude •Analytical problem solver •Proven presentation skills •Flexible •Eager to learn •Fluent in English |
