The integration of network and system components from Alcatel-Lucent and 3rd party providers, in order to deliver end-to-end solutions to our customers, is one of the main activities of the Alcatel-Lucent Services Division. This value-added activity is a strategic differentiator for Alcatel-Lucent in the market place. Our Benelux team of about 100 engineers is taking part of the definition, configuration, testing and deployment of next generation networks and IT-environments for the different telecom service providers as well as several companies in the industry and public sector. Goal As network integration engineer, you contribute to challenging and complex network integration projects in areas such as next generation mobile networks (LTE), network and services migration to IP-based infrastructures and innovative solutions to address the transportation, energy and public services markets. As system integration engineer, you take part to ambitious IT projects such as deployment of inventory systems, end-to-end surveillance solution, monitoring of quality of services and billing solutions. Your main responsibilities will include: •the design and architecture of the solutions, pulling together the different network equipment and systems components from Alcatel-Lucent and its partners within the customer existing network and IT environments •the development, customization, configuration, testing and validation of the solutions •the technical project management, interacting with our customers and partners on a very regular basis Your main challenges will be: •the willingness to accept and overcome challenges •to think “out-of-the-box” •to apply creative solutions to complex technical problems •the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced working environment •to be able to work both independently and as part of a team Contact for more information Sandrine Halleux (Talent acquisition and development): Email: Jobs.recruitment@alcatel-lucent.com |

| Nodige voorkennis | Technical background and experience
You hold (or will obtain this year) a Master’s degree in (applied) engineering sciences: Electrical engineering or Telecom or Computer science engineering. You have a broad interest in the telecom sector. Knowledge of network operations software, business management support software and IP protocols s is an asset. Social Skills You are a quick learner You enjoy taking initiatives You like handling complex systems and projects You are driven to succeed and to maintain Alcatel-Lucent at the top You are keen on working in a multicultural environment You enjoy taking responsibilities You have good social & communications skills and are not afraid of getting in contact with customers |
