We are the competence center within Alcatel-Lucent for complex total solution integration and validation projects. We have been selected by external clients and operators to act as an independent integrator. Our approach, methodology and knowledge are greatly appreciated inside and outside Alcatel-Lucent. Within Alcatel-Lucent we are the Application Enablement and High Leverage Network Reality Center where all products and solutions are brought together to be integrated and validated. We define, prototype, integrate, validate and test total solutions. We transform the telecom sector from PSTN to IMS, from ATM/FR/… to overall IP, etc. We focus on end-to-end; this range includes home applications & services, access technologies, aggregation/core networks, application and service delivery platforms, operator services, etc. We work with the latest technologies: fixed networks, mobile networks, wireless networks, multi-media projects, network infrastructure projects, application projects, eco systems, etc. We are organized around smaller expert project teams who help define the solution, determine the architecture of the solution, develop an integration, validation and test strategy in order to integrate and validate the solution as effectively as possible and define and set up a lab model, as well as define and perform tests, so as to ultimately present the client with a validation report listing the results, findings, observations, shortcomings etc. of the solution. We are a part of the worldwide IPTC organization and network, and cooperate closely with IPTC in the US, Singapore and India. You will cooperate with a multidisciplinary team of experts with state-of-the-art technology and tools, in a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Goal: be responsible for the end-to-end solution integration of customer network and be the reference in solution validation. Your main responsibilities will include: •You will be part of the IP Transformation team and assist customers in their migrations to Ethernet and IP. •You will join one of the expert solution validation project teams, in which you can make a direct contribution. •You will work on the integration and validation of total solutions in highly varied technologies including multi-media, network transformations, IMS, etc. This ranges from an understanding of what the client wants, to the elaboration of a solution and architecture through to the integration, validation and testing thereof. •You will care for high level and low level architecture design of solutions and scaling towards representative lab models for validation •You will develop Integration Services which are used for validating solutions. The integration Services are being sold independently as well. •You will define the test strategy in an end-2-end environment. Use case driven , centralized around end to end Key Performance indicators and Key Quality indicators •Based on the test-strategy, you will run test scenarios in a manual and automated way. Your main challenges will be: •Gain a deeper understanding of end to end functionality of solutions offered, in order to see customer critical items and propose structural innovations for the solutions offered. •Challenge the IP network models for deployment issues. •Cope with the complexity of the network •Get an helicopter view •Build a strong relationship and collaboration with Alcatel-Lucent product groups but also with 3rd party product suppliers, partners and operators Contact details: Mail to jobs.recruitment@alcatel-lucent.com Contact person: Sandrine Halleux |
