We are looking for different ambitious Applications Engineer for our Business Unit Actuators/Sensors/Opto for our site in Tessenderlo, to drive further growth. He/She will realize innovative energy-efficient solutions at our customers, for smart motor control and power management in the next “green cars”. Accountabilities: Product - Do the validation of a new IC to prove that the product works perfect in the application - Make datasheet, application notes, evaluation board, reference designs to get a short design-in-cycle at the customer - Build application know-how to understand customer needs and provide better solutions - Provide technical training of our products to customers and sales people - Understand and define tools to develop software and to program IC’s in production - In case of customer returns, analyze the quality problem in the application, support our project and quality team to find a solution, communicate timely with the customer Customer Support – Opportunity Support - Visit customers, identify the right Melexis product to get the best customer solution - Bring a new customer opportunity from lead to design-win with your team - Keep customer contacts after design-win to check implementation or quality issues - Share know-how with your collegues on customer solution, market trends, competition |
