| Beschrijving | The Senior Engineer Electronics will be responsible for the development of HW systems using both analog and digital components and interfacing with UI software running on a PC. These systems are used as evaluation kits and/or reference designs to operate and demonstrate state of the art ON SEMI application specific standard products (ASSP).
Besides the design and layout of these boards the Senior Engineer Electronics will also be responsible for the production, evaluation, documentation and product acceptance test. (e.g. CE certification) He or she will be the technical expert supporting these ASSP’s. This includes the documentation of the product (e.g. datasheet) and of the kits/reference designs, creation of application notes, FAQs and technical articles. Also acquiring system know-how related to the application is a must. The Senior Engineer Electronics wants to become an expert in various international system and test specifications, co-ordinate certification of ASSP to international standards related to the product The Senior Engineer Electronics is a good communicator and will be able to conduct technical meetings, give presentations and acts as the technical contact for customers solving technical problems. He or she will give technical training and support tof the global FAE team and channel distribution partners. |

| Nodige voorkennis | Master Engineering degree (or equivalent) plus job-related experience
5+ years of hands on design experience in electronic hardware engineering (PCB level), hardware architectures, standard interfaces like SPI, UART Strong background in PCB design for analog and digital applications; knowledgeable on PCB design for EMC and power conversion. Experience in problem solving in a systematic approach. Experience with software development in C, C++, C# (assembler is a strong asset); familiar with the development of embedded software. Strong motivation for technical challenges Project management skills, experience in working with (virtual) technical teams, team player Good written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory. Willing to travel to customers for short assignments |
