Beschrijving • The skid mechanical engineering will function as skid specialist and coordinate all
activities needed for each assigned job/project. The following task are part of the
functional area:
• Integrate and become an integral part of the assigned project team
• Read and understand client technical specifications and extract skid & valve
related information
• Extract all information from the P&ID to create and issue valve specifications and
datasheets, issue technical requisitions and follow-up with vendors on technical
aspect.
• Ensure that technical information is passed onto the proper channels; CAD
design, project team members
• Be the focal point for all skid & valve technical related questions from the
customer and the project team members
• Create and issue a technical requisition (fabrication specifications, quality plans,
line list, equipment list, …) for the fabrication and assembly of the valve and
piping skid. Technical evaluation of the received offers.
• Follow up of skid construction and assembly at the vendor's workshop including
pre inspection meeting, regular inspection meetings and final acceptance with
the client. Review and approve documents provided by the constructor.
• Solve problems in place
• Compile the dossier for third party inspection bodies (Notified Body) responsible for
the final construction dossier.

  • 2e Master in de ingenieurswetenschappen: werktuigkunde-elektrotechniek
Nodige voorkennis Buiten kennis van de engelse taal is er geen specifieke voorkennis vereist. Er wordt een grondige opleiding aangeboden binnen het bedrijf wat deze functie ideaal maakt voor starters.
