Nowadays, we can’t really picture our lives without energy.
It is simply impossible but it doesn’t always have a positive effect on our planet.
So we, the future engineers, must ask ourselves how can we incorporate all our knowledge
into improving the energy flow in our buildings and surroundings thus fighting against global warming?
Let’s help heal the world and make it a greener and healthier place for everyone!
Come aboard and join us in the beautiful city of Ghent to explore the possibilities of the energy transition to a more sustainable future through interesting lectures and company visits. Both building physics such as cooling and heating systems, and sustainable energy production will be addressed in this course. We have a team of passionate teachers ready who are excited to explain every little detail!
Applications are open until Sunday 13 March 23:00 CET (Central European Time) for every student from all over Europe.
We ask all participants to write a motivation letter (max 1 page) and answer all the questions in the form below.
This is a rough draft of the schedule, which will definitely undergo some changes :)
All the materials that are relevant for the course will appear here when they are ready. These materials will enlarge your insights on sustainable energy and the transition in our urban environment. Going through these documents will give you a bigger picture about the topics that will be discussed during the course.
More info later.
Disclaimer: Transportation will be mainly by bike. We will provide a bike for every student, but be sure to know how to ride a bike.
