IAESTE is the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience. IAESTE offers opportunities for science and engineering undergraduates to gain valuable work experience in an international environment.

The association was founded in 1948, and has since expanded to include over 100 member countries worldwide. IAESTE Belgium is currently active in three cities (Ghent, Brussels and Leuven), each with their own Local Committees (LC’s).

Each year, Belgian students are offered the opportunity to gain international work experience in a foreign company or research institution.
