Humasol is a Belgian non-profit organization, founded in 2007 and active in Ghent and Leuven, whose goal is to make renewable technology accessible to everyone. By working closely with a local partner in Africa, Asia or South America, we design a project, which directly benefits the local community and execute it on site. Humasol offers internships to students, during which they develop and install a solution that matches the partner’s demand. The project is established by three or four students and can involve the building of a solar boiler, wind or water turbine, solar panels, biodigestor, electrical grids or a water treatment installation.
