Operating from Brussels, Munich, and New-York, our success to date is built on the rigor of our international team of >30 investment professionals and its capacity to invest in solid growing businesses.

Cobepa usually invests between €50m to €300m (with upside) per transaction in equity, mainly in leverage buy-out and growth capital investments alongside founders, families or manager-shareholders.

Role and responsibilities

As a trainee in our investment team, you will have the opportunity to:

• work on projects across various industries
• be involved in activities such as financial analysis, modelling, company profiling and industry research
• participate in the development of presentations and investment memoranda
• interact with private equity professionals of all levels of experience s
• receive in-depth knowledge of the business and gain practical experience of the type of assignments that an Investment Officer would have

The relatively small size of the deal team allows for increased accountability, responsibility, and visibility.

Qualifications and personality
We are looking for:

• Master student or young graduate from top-tier universities with a background in business or economics
• Top academic performance and extra-curricular activities
• Preferably prior internship experience in consulting/ banking/ private equity
• Distinctive analytical and strategic thinking
• Ability to adapt to a highly demanding environment
• Self-starter mentality
• Enthusiastic and team player
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in English primarily (knowledge of an additional language is a plus)
