Dropon is a SaaS startup in Ghent active in the logistics last-mile sector. Founded in September 2018, Dropon continued to build an existing software from the ecological courier service Bubble Post. Our software helps companies with the organization of the delivery process through automatic route planning, follow-up of delivery operations and automated communication. Meanwhile, the software is used for multiple applications such as home deliveries of fresh food, catering delivery, transport of parcels, etc.

We are active in a strongly growing market and with our innovative approach we want to help new and traditional companies to optimize their logistics process and increase their customer satisfaction. We believe that every company dealing with frequent deliveries should have the best planning and route optimization tools available.

1. Full-stack software engineer

Development of new functionalities
Thinking along and developing new concepts and technologies
Maintain and improve the various applications
Continue to improve the scalability of our platform
Close cooperation with your teammates

GoLang or similar (strictly typed)

You have experience with: Backend, frontend, devops
You like documented, indented code
You feel comfortable delegating assignments (project management to freelancers)
You have a listening ear for the customer’s needs and can convert them into projects
You have good English/Dutch communication skills
You are pro-active, eager to learn and have an eye for detail
