In an increasingly digital market, European energy suppliers (electricity and gas) are having to adapt and evolve according to the new opportunities digitalization brings. That said, the different countries in Europe are moving at vastly different speeds while aiming to respect both European objectives and national regulations. The goal of this internship is to study the digitalization and impacts of smart meters, on a European scale and for specific countries, to identify trends, challenges and the various strategies in place by existing suppliers. This will require strategic analysis to map EU countries with their own digitalization phase and assess key trends that will shape energy suppliers over the next 10 years.
