Kazidomi is looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic data science intern. We are looking for someone who can develop relevant analyses with actionable outputs and support data engineers developing AI models for an internship of 3 to 6 months (we are flexible on the duration).

Kazidomi is an e-commerce selling healthy, ethical and ecological products based in Brussels. We sell food, beverages, hygiene and beauty products, and cleaning products. Kazidomi's differentiator is its unique product assortment, created by a team of 8 people including an in-house nutritionist. We are a team of 70 with just over half working in the warehouse. We have built up a credibility and expertise over the five years of our existence that allows our customers to shop with their eyes closed because every ingredient is verified according to our publicly available charter. Added to this, we have a subscription model that allows us to charge below market prices for our members. Over the last 5 years, Kazidomi has on average doubled in size every year.

We have a very ambitious roadmap leading to a 100% personalized experience for each of our customers. This concerns the products offered as well as the content (blog post, email etc.). For example, an athlete arriving on the site will be offered the latest proteins, energy gels and isotonic drinks and articles on the topic. This is one of our key strategic growth areas and will become one of our differentiators. 

To accomplish this, we have a real need to better understand our customers before we can develop recommendation and prediction models. We have no other data scientist in-house which means that the impact of the person hired will be significant and that initiative is encouraged in addition to the roadmap developed in-house. The person will work directly with the co-founders' right-hand and one of the two co-founders.
