Analog IC Design for Optical Communication
Here you find the details for the internship named "Analog IC Design for Optical Communication" in the company Nokia.
Name: | Analog IC Design for Optical Communication |
Company: | Nokia |
Description: | The team you'll be part of Nokia Bell Labs is the world-renowned research arm of Nokia, having invented many of the foundational technologies that underpin information and communications networks and all digital devices and systems. This research has produced nine Nobel Prizes, five Turing Awards and numerous other awards. You will join the Signal Processing & Algorithms team, which has a proven record of inventing record-breaking access technologies and enriching Nokia’s product portfolio. Our team innovates on end-to-end system design as well as on building blocks of the physical layer of next-generation communication technologies and audio systems by employing a range of skills including digital signal processing, optimization theory and opto-electronic hardware co-integration and design. What you will learn and contribute to We are looking for a student familiar with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques, such as equalization, modulation, clock and data recovery, or forward error correction, and who is interested in contributing to innovations in next-generation Passive Optical Network or Fiber-To-The-Home, enabling data rates of 100 Gb/s and more on a single optical wavelength. In this internship, you will - Acquire knowledge on passive optical networks and the physical layer in PON technologies through an initial literature study |
