Project description: Creating a functional BI platform.

Create a BI platform!
The final goal of this BI platform is to make it possible for the end-users to view their reports and dashboards in an easy and insightful way.

The platform you are going to build will have to provide useful information from several data sources.
First, we build an OLTP database from which we import data.
Next, we will design and build a data warehouse. On top of this, we provide data mapping and we build the ETL flow.

The final step consists of creating reports and dashboards.
Use your gained knowledge and logic to write a user manual. It must be clear enough to guide an outsider in the environment and processes.
To accomplish this, you can choose your own tools. However, to get optimal support it is recommended to use the Microsoft stack. (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PowerBI, SQL Server,…)

Goal: creating a functioning BI platform and writing a user manual, making the platform understandable for all its future users.

- Candidates must have a passion for data
- Candidates preferably have experience with SSIS or another ETL tool
- Basic knowledge of data modeling and dashboard building is a big plus
- The internship will take place in our offices in Mechelen. Candidates must arrange their own transport
- Candidates can work autonomously without daily guidance
