Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre is responsible for:
• Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models.
• Reflecting EU technology to Toyota Vehicles timely by utilizing location advantage and a strong network with EU partners.
Body Division Exterior Design Engineering is responsible for Planning & Design of Upper Body Shell and Exterior parts, Function parts and Lamps for European Vehicles from concept phase to serial production.

Your project
Intern Engineer will be responsible to evaluate FLOEFD software application for exterior lamps.

• Learn using FLOEFD software for simulation and analysis purposes.
• Engage with the Siemens support team to fully explore and comprehend the software’s capabilities.
• Define and implement relevant use cases for the simulation of exterior lamps.
• Assess the outcomes of simulated use cases, comparing and correlating them with existing test reports.
• Develop a robust simulation methodology and establish best practices for future evaluations.
• Explore opportunities to expand the methodology to include additional exterior components beyond lamps.

Your profile

• You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
• You are doing a Masters in mechanical or thermal engineering
• You have knowledge of Catia or other design software.
• You have a Toyota DNA, this means you:
o wish to develop and you are ready to persevere in order to reach challenging targets.
o seek facts before making recommendations or decisions.
o have strong planning and organization skills
o enjoy working in a team, respecting others.
o have a creative mind and passion for cars.
o have excellent communication skills

Duration: 12 Weeks

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

The internship must be an integral part of the candidate's academic program, ensuring that they receive academic credits and that it contributes towards the completion of their diploma
