Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
Vehicle Performance Engineering (VPE) ensures competitive and inspiring products by setting performance targets and optimising vehicle behaviour throughout development. Within VPE, the Model Based Development (MBD) team drives digitalisation by creating and standardising simulation methodologies. Our purpose is to enable early, accurate, and efficient vehicle performance evaluation through advanced modelling and co-simulation, reducing physical prototypes and accelerating development.
Your project
Optimizing and enhancing a target setting app (Matlab based) that enbales model-based feasibility studies for BEV performance planning mainly focusing on BEV range.
Your profile
- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
- Good comprehension of electric vehicle systems and thermal modelling
- Good understanding of simulation methods & modelling such as MATLAB/Simulink and app development experience
- You are comfortable working in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment
- You have a pro-active mindset and you are eager to seek for facts to make well-informed decisions

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.
It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
The internship must be an integral part of the candidate's academic program, ensuring that they receive academic credits and that it contributes towards the completion of their diploma
