Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description
As part of TME R&D organization, the Powertrain Division is responsible for local development of powertrains for vehicles built in one of the TME production plants, and for planning and research of new European technologies. Latest focus points include electrification, big data and connectivity.

Your project

With increasing electrification in the automotive industry, E-motors and E-axles play a crucial role in future powertrains. Your project is about investigating new technologies.

• Innovation scouting through literature and patent landscaping
• Visualize technical trends in charts
• Make roadmaps for technical aspects of E-motors and E-axles

Your profile

• You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
• You are interested in automotive powertrains
• University student with at least 2 years of study already completed.
• You are eager to dive into technical topics on electrified powertrains and able to summarize and explain complex technologies in simple keypoints.
• Open personality and able to work independently in a multi-cultural business environment.

Starting date: ideally July 1st, 2025 (other starting dates can be discussed)

Confidentiality
Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

The internship must be an integral part of the candidate's academic program, ensuring that they receive academic credits and that it contributes towards the completion of their diploma.
