Job description:

In order to strengthen our RF & Microwave design team we want a colleague (M/F) with a passion for analog electronics and high frequency techniques, who wants to take part in the development of telecommunication equipment for space for both on-board of the satellite and satellite ground stations. Your responsibility in the cooperation with your colleagues of the team are:

- System Design:
Analysis of specifications for telecommunication systems, definition of system topology and derivation of subsystem specifications. You are able to subdivide a telecommunication system in its key building blocks, such as local oscillator, frequency convertor, modulator. You have good notions of key performance parameters of system building blocks, such as phase noise, gain compression point, intermodulation products, return loss, insertion loss,…
- Circuit Designer:
Design, simulation and test of RF & microwave also linear or switching DCDC converters and analog signal conditioning High-speed digital signals and signal integrity
- PCB design:
PCB layout with a suitable software package

Job experience:

You are a university or high school bachelor or master, but above all you have a passion for high frequency techniques. You have already worked with a soldering iron and you can express yourself fluently and easily orally and in writing Dutch and English. Although the the main emphasis is on analog electronics you have notions of digital electronics , EMC/EMI and 3D mechanical design.
