OUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for evaluation, assessment and recommendation of connectivity solutions based on required performance and application

Responsible for maintenance and update of existing corporate standards in the proper area of responsibility

Responsible for development of proper test and validation plans based on specific requirements

Responsible for developing and maintaining technology roadmaps connectivity solutions

Participate in problem resolutions in area of responsibility utilizing industry known best practices such as 8D and 5Why

Responsible in facilitation of communication between engineering, manufacturing, quality and other functional areas within multi-disciplinary product development team environment

Act as a technical liaison between CNHi and suppliers within area of responsibility

Travel as needed to supplier sites to facilitate communication between engineering and suppliers

Responsible for implementation of design improvements to products based on knowledge gained through cross-functional interactions with suppliers

Responsible for coordination of projects and report on their progress, interacting regularly with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and compliance to company requirements

Act as the global expert for connectors interacting directly with internal customers

Expect travel 10% (some international)

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.

Minimum of 5 years in development and application of connectivity solutions in ON/OFF Highway industry

In-depth knowledge of connector design elements such TPA, CPA, etc

In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards such SAE USCAR-2, ISO 8092-2 and others

Minimum of 2 years hands on with 3D CAD design tools such CREO, UG, etc

Ability to clearly communicate in English language

An ideal candidate will have:

OEM or Tier 1 experience within the same industry

At least 2 years experience with CREO

Ability to read and understand electrical systems schematics

Possess strong communication skills and ability to communicate with global network of colleagues which English may be a second language.

Possess the ability to appropriately communicate with various levels within the organization up to but not limited to Vice President.

Possess the ability to delegate activities, work, and requests to others within or external to functional group.
