Multidisciplinary, Project Management and technical expertise: as a Young Potential you will learn it all through our Young Potential Programme at DD Engineering!
As a Young Potential you will grow in terms of technical knowledge (expertise and multidisciplinary) and soft skills (project management, collaboration, ...). Together we map out your path to become an Expert Project Engineer or Project Manager. Knowing how you want to grow and what you like to do is only possible by experiencing it first!
Pathway as a Young Potential:
The onboarding starts with meeting your buDDE. You will then be taken through the onboarding process and DDE culture.
Training is very important to us and we do it in 4 ways: own strengths and evolution by the Clifton Strenghts method, on-the-job learning, our DDE Academy and WoWs (Ways of Working) from DDE. In the first weeks, you can expect various training courses, including process engineering, Autocad, EIA (electricity, instrumentation, automation), ...
The workshops will give you more insight into our projects. In your first weeks you will spend a day with one of our Project Managers to get to know the practical side.
To further prepare you for your first project, we will take you through a “Safety bath”. DDSafety deals with projects in the field of technical safety and is an ideal learning environment for an in-depth understanding of the processes and for getting to know the technical side of projects. Not only going from A to B, also all things that can go wrong between A and B. And more importantly, how to solve them! You also take the first steps in how to collaborate with the customer.
In the beginning you support various Project Engineers and Project Managers. With strong support you put the training into practice. You will also get to know different projects and production environments.
Your first project: you handle your first project in a DDE team. In any case, together with a Project Manager, possibly further reinforced by other Project Engineers. Your strengths and needs can best be estimated from the first project, whereby your trajectory is further shaped.
