De Clercq & Partners is looking for a Patent Attorney (Trainee) to join our team of engineers. We are specifically looking for candidates who specialize in Computer Sciences, Software, Artificial Intelligence

ABOUT THE JOB
- Managing a worldwide patent portfolio
- Drafting and reviewing patent applications and prosecution thereof
- Assessing and advising on issues such as Freedom to operate, alleged infringement and IP disputes
- Handling oppositions, appeals and litigations

ABOUT YOU
- MA or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics or Computer Sciences
- Excellent in Dutch and English; working knowledge of French or German
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize and take initiative
- Ability to handle confidential cases in a discrete manner
