The Junior Project Buyer performs several tasks within the multinational matrix organization of the ECA Group, namely:

 You contribute to the full management of (complex) sourcing projects (small, medium and large), this from start development over sourcing and contracting till rollout.
 In time, you will be in charge of one or more purchasecommodities at Belgian and/or group level.

The tasks you are entrusted with are :

 You participate or lead purchase projects, determine the strategy, ensure buy-in within the project teams and a successful rollout.
 You support new product development (NPD) programs.
 You work transversely through the organization and determine the purchasing strategy’s for your programs and/or commodities.
The required and expected technical skills are :

 Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier relation management and supply chain processes.
 You ensure smooth communication and are the bridge builder between departments and external partners.
 You are fluent in French and English, both in word and writing. Dutch and/or other languages are a plus.
 Good knowledge MS office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

 You received a higher education, bachelor or master, and you have a first experience in a commercial position or purchase role with affinity for technique.
 You are a communicative and a good relationship builder. You also have ambition, are open to change and have a natural interest in innovation.
 You have a good business acumen and can think and act both short and long term.
 You are proactive and like to take initiatives to process.
 You enjoy negotiation, both internally and externally.
