ECA Group (www.ecagroup.com) is known for its expertise in robotics, automated systems, simulation and industrial processes.
ECA Robotics, part of the ECA Group company, recently established a Belgian branch responsible for the implementation of a large part of the future mining control system for the Belgian and Dutch marines.

As software engineer, you will participate in the realization of the software and in particular of the task management. You will work with the teams for other system components, especially ECA Robotics in Toulon (France) and the interested parties of our industrial partner.

You are also involved in all stages of product development, from specifications for the new functionalities to global integration.

The tasks you are entrusted with are :

 Design and develop technical projects
 Monitor the different project phases and in consultation with both the internal and external partners as the final customer
 Compliance with the terms of the entrusted software development (cost monitoring, deadlines and quality of the products to be delivered)

Our ideal candidate has knowledge of or is willing to learn about :

 The control and knowledge of : C++, C# and WPF,...
 Knowledge of Python is an asset
 Experience with GPU programming and/or Artificial Intelligence is very much appreciated & valued
 Configuration managment : SVN
 Atlassian : JIRA, Confluence…
 Working following the agile methodology
 Be able to express themselves easily in Dutch and English. Knowledge of the French language is desired.
