Communication among software components is realized using a Data Exchange Service (DES). Each software needs to declare his inputs and outputs. The creation of those inputs/outputs is similar in every component, leading to duplicated code and time spent to create the same code structure.
The goal of this stage is to create a tool to explore the different possibilities to reduce the amount of duplicated code:
- configurable IO manager library
- code generator
- possibility of AI code generation
The tool or library will need to be thoroughly tested and follow good code practice as it will be used by developers in their job.

• Good command of Dutch or French. Can have a conversation in English. You will work in an international environment
• Knowledge of Python and C++, experience
• Object-oriented programming
