We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious backend developer to join our cozy software team. We have a lot of software to enable and support both the installation, management, and administration of all our RTLS installations at customers in over 80 countries, with a large focus on availability and robustness. In your role, you will be able to work on the Pozyx backend services, with a focus on our on-premise software. You will be guided in your work by two experienced developers.

Key responsibilities
Create RESTful APIs for our users
Ensure the APIs we provide are robust, secure, and predictable
Work on our on-premise monitoring and alerting
Implement and maintain new features
Implement and maintain integrations for various customers
Focus on improvements throughout our entire stack and processes.

Profile we are looking for
You hold a bachelor’s or master degree in computer science or similar.
Eager to learn new technology and improve both yourself and the company
Fluent communication skills in English & Dutch (written and oral).

Technical skills
Abillity to program in Python and Javascript
Knowledge of at least one modern web framework such as FastAPI or Express
Experience working with one or more databases.
Knowledge of HTTP API backend development using SQL/NoSQL
Experience with Linux
Basic understanding of Docker and microservices
Proficient in Git
