Your most important tasks:
- After an intensive introduction and training period in our engineering or quality department, you will be jointly responsible for management and coordination of steel construction projects in Belgium or one of the neighbouring countries.
- You will closely work together with an experienced project manager and with the drawing, production and engineering department in Belgium.
- You will quickly be given responsibilities based on your knowledge and initiative.
- Planning, communication, problem analysis, coordination and cooperation with all parties involved are the most important tasks to ensure the realisation of the projects in a safe, high quality and profitable manner.

Our ideal candidate
- has a Master’s degree in industrial or civil engineering.
- has a dynamic, proactive personality and a flexible, no-nonsense mentality.
- is interested in on- and offshore steel constructions and construction projects, of which you can find several references on our website.
- has a strong practical knowledge of languages, in particular English.
- is prepared to work on the different Smulders sites and facilities, both inland as abroad.
