As an Automation Engineer, you support in the development, implementation and improvement of the existing software. Your tasks include:

Implement changes in the Siemens PLCs of existing and new equipment
Analyse, debug, improve and expand existing software
Troubleshoot the PLC if technical breakdowns occur
Assist with automation problems of team members
Execute and document root cause analyses
Assist with analysing en implementing efficiency enhancing projects
Work together with the team to realise process improvement projects
Support external parties with regards to automation

Master in Engineering, specialized in automation is a plus
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Siemens S7 and TIA portal
Able to interpret electrical diagrams and P&IDs
Good communication skills, fluent in English and Dutch
A teamplayer with creative sense and social ability
Positive, assertive and you have a “can do” mentality
