As Thermodynamics Engineer you are responsible for the development and testing of new products in the field of thermodynamics and energy conversion. Your tasks include:

Build physical Matlab models which you validate with a hands-on-approach by testing in the lab and in customer installations
Obtain data from the customers' installations to enrich the models
Actively map energy streams from the customers to identify energy saving potential
Verify the technical and economic feasibility of different designs
Usage of PDCA to develop solutions to optimise and balance energy savings, customer benefit and cost

Master degree in Electromechanical Engineering with a focus on thermodynamics
Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink or similar software
Experience in power generation cycles is a plus
Broad interests in thermodynamics, electrical design, mechanical design, field data machine learning and remote control of the products
A client- and result oriented mindset
Teamplayer with good communication skills
Good knowledge of English, Dutch is a plus
