Service Market Logistics is one of our well-respected departments at Volvo Group. It is with great honor that we look at our distribution center, as it is the biggest one of the Volvo Group worldwide. It holds spare parts of every brand, which means all spare parts of the truck brands, the construction equipment, the busses and the marine- and industrial engines. You are part of the Operational Support team in CDC Ghent, this department supports operations in different ways with topics related to maintenance and real estate, process &IT, warehouse engineering and packaging, new technologies, Lead DC, site security and known consignor. On top of, Operational Support is involved in future master plans.

Do you just love to ...
You actively contribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of the processes assigned to you. You will work together with Logistic Engineers, Operations, Quality, Delivery & Planning, ...
You are responsible for documenting the processes in your area and keeping them up-to-date
You are responsible for (functionally) improving assigned systems.
You initiate system changes towards IT and follow up the request up till implementation.
You ensure that the system supports the users sufficiently to be able to pursue their objectives around quality, service, lead time and cost.
You perform analyses within your area of operation.
You ensure that the documentation of the systems remains up-to-date.
After completing an assignment or project, you ensure that the key users and users receive sufficient training and aftercare.
You participate in Continuous Improvement activities, kaizen workshops and focus Improvement activities
The Business Analyst reports to the Warehouse Optimization Group Leader within the Operational Support department.

Are you the one?
You have a master's degree or equivalent through experience.
You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
You are an analyst who can draw the right conclusions and convert them into targeted action plans.
You can think process-wise E2E
You have strong ICT skills.
You have basic knowledge of recent technological developments: big data / SQL, internet of things, cloud computing, ...
You have good communication skills.
You have basic skills to coordinate projects.
You have the necessary social skills to guide change.
Knowledge of logistic processes is an advantage.
Experience with change management is an advantage.
