The thesis can address one of the following topics:

Multicloud: from automated application deployment to creating a hybrid infrastructure (On premise cloud connected to a public cloud)
Automation: automate infrastructure configuration and deployment in an SDN fabric
Analytics: deploying and integrating infrastructure or application analytics solution
Machine learning (AI): study of ML technologies, deployment of an accelerated compute cluster and application to a real data seT

What you need to be eligible:

Currently in your last year of studies pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree (at Belgian university or high school) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Informatics, Data Science, Information Technology, MIS, Mathematics, Physics, or other equivalent degree
Strong academic background with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passion for technology, creative thinker and problem solver
Strong skills: Communication, influencing, organization, adaptability, flexibility, and highly self-motivated
Technical background in
Full-stack web development (eg: Javascript D3.js, node.js, HTML5, etc.)
Interactions with REST APIs and JSON / XML
Python programming (2.7 and 3.0)
Docker containers
Hypervisors (Vmware, Linux, Microsoft)
Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills, team work, ability to work in collaborative environment – all with a positive attitude
Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
