At Barco, the Barco Labs group is responsible for the research and development of new technologies that can be used in future generations of Barco products. More specifically, you will join the AVoIP & Connectivity group within Barco Labs, which is a multi-disciplinary team with skills spanning several domains: From software development, high performance audio/video rendering, efficient audio-visual AI inference on various hardware platforms, up to game engine technology and robotics.

For an exciting project focusing on camera automation and tracking, we are seeking an intern to help develop new algorithms. These algorithms will enable our system to learn from a human operator and enhance its performance over time. Keywords: reinforcement learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Background or experience in machine learning.
- Proficiency in software development using Python.
- Quick learner with a proactive and can-do attitude.
- Ability to commit to working at Barco for at least one semester.
- Eligible to work at our HQ in Kortrijk, Belgium.

Plus skills:
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and Docker.
- Experience with C++.
- Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning or Recommendation systems.
- Experience working with large codebases.
