YOUR IMPACT AND LEARNING JOURNEY

As an M&A Analyst Intern at Deliverect, you will play a pivotal role in our company's expansion and growth strategies. This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience, where you will be actively engaged in identifying and analyzing potential merger and acquisition targets. You will learn to conduct thorough market research, master financial modeling and valuation techniques, and participate in due diligence to assess the strategic alignment and financial health of potential deals. Your contributions will be crucial to Deliverect’s strategic decisions, enhancing our market position and fostering long-term success.

A TYPICAL DAY AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

> Market Research: Learn to identify potential acquisition targets and analyse industry trends and competitor landscapes.
> Financial Modeling: Gain hands-on experience in building detailed financial models to assess the financial viability of target companies and determine fair acquisition prices.
> Due Diligence: Assist in reviewing financial statements, contracts, and other relevant documents to evaluate the financial and legal standings of potential acquisitions.
> Negotiation and Documentation: Support the negotiation process and help draft key legal documents, such as term sheets and purchase agreements.
> Stakeholder Communication: Engage with a variety of stakeholders, including investment bankers, lawyers, and executives, to ensure alignment and smooth deal progression.

YOUR EXPERTISE AND GROWTH

> Academic Background: Pursuing or having recently completed a Bachelor’s or Masters's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Previous Intern experience or focussed studies in mergers and acquisitions is highly desirable.
> Skills Development: A desire to sharpen your analytical and problem-solving skills, with extensive practice in financial modeling and valuation.
> Software Proficiency: Enhance your proficiency in Excel and other financial modeling tools.
> Communication: Develop your communication and interpersonal skills through regular engagement with diverse stakeholders.
> Professional Experience: Build on any previous experience in M&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, with direct exposure to the field.

INTERNSHIP DURATION AND STRUCTURE

This is a fixed-term, 6-month internship designed to immerse you deeply in corporate development projects, with potential growth into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

> This internship begins in two months and is based in our London office and Ghent, Belgium HQ. You will have opportunities to interact with senior leaders and directly influence strategic decisions.
