For the integration of a new underwater vehicle, an acoustic synchronization system needs to be
developed. This system orchestrates the operation of different acoustic sensors to avoid interference
of their emissions. As this equipment is distributed over different components of the complete
system, communication protocols play a big role in the development of this solution next to low?latency software development. The required solution will be a customized version of an already
existing architecture, optimized to work with the foreseen equipment

Required skills
• Intermediate knowledge of C++ and python
• Basic knowledge of FPGA’s and parallelism
• Basic knowledge of digital electronics and electronic protocols (CAN, RS485, UART, …)
• Taking initiative in resolving issues and proposing solutions
• Good command of English and Dutch or French. You work in an international environment
and will write documentation in English
