Our team in Brussels is helping our clients fight terrorism, support national defense, and ensure safety of Belgian and European citizens. We help clients to expertly staff their teams and support their technical projects using augmented intelligence. We develop innovative platforms for intelligence analysis, defense operations, and back office optimizations using industry leading capabilities such as cognitive computing, big data analytics, and design thinking. Our interns inject new thinking, and help us implement existing and new requirements, and audition for future employment.
What you will do:

Helping the team answer client questions by identifying data sources available on the internet
Processing the data
Identifying affective ways to arrive at the solution by fusing, analyzing and manipulating the collected data
Using a variety of tools and techniques to process data at scale
Develop innovative ways to visualize the data to augment decision-making
Perform market research and develop strategic reports

As an intern, you will:

Apply IBMs Cognitive Watson technologies to solve real client problems
Work in a multi-disciplinary technology consulting team
Work in a project-based environment with other interns and IBM mentors.
Have access to IBM’s global technology capabilities and expertise
Own and execute your own project from beginning to end

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Requirements for the Position:

A demonstrated experience and knowledge of modern social media platforms
Experience with collection and processing of data from the internet
A clear understanding of open, deep, and dark web
Experienced in designing reports, presentations and complex visualizations.
Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking
