As an Junior Civil Engineer & Business Consultant, you will focus on the development and the implementation of advise and strategy for companies or organizations in diverse sectors such as big civil infrastructures, logistic, industries.

Responsibilities

Project & risk management
• Manage business opportunity and risk management processes on construction projects by follow-up, coordination, monitoring and reporting,
• Coach and support project team members on the opportunity and risk management process,
• Coach, train & perform consultancy at our clients, related to business risk management in non-financial sectors,
Early contract involvement
• Coach, support & coordinate a team of engineers in the early phases of large, complex construction projects with the aim to optimize the collaboration between the client/investor, technical consultants and contractors.
Other
• Coordinate and assist in the development of software applications related to project/business risk management and client-contractor collaborations.

Skills and knowledge

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• <3 years of experience in civil engineering,
• Must be fluent in English (Written/Spoken). Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is considered as a plus,
• Flexibility for missions abroad,
• Good knowledge of common IT tools such as MS Teams and Sharepoint. Knowledge of programs such as Primavera, SQL, Relatics, BIM, Microsoft Power BI, Aconex, Sharepoint programming is an extra plus,
• Structured way of working, high self-motivation, entrepreneur-minded, eager to work with international project teams,
• Communicative and with good interpersonal skills, able to work closely with others and also perform well individually,
• Strong analytic and ability to work with budgets,
• Have a flexible attitude and be eager to learn and explore different projects & industries in various sectors.
