Job Description:
To lead our Utilities department in Bornem (Belgium), we are looking for an Utilities Supervisor.

Key responsibilities:
• Daily monitoring of the performance of all installations that fall within the scope of responsibility (Gel Prep, Powerplant, HCM drying)
• Daily management, supervision, and coaching of a team of 1 Utilities Engineer and 4 Utilities Technicians
• Management and optimization of the maintenance plan for Powerplant, HCM drying, and Gel Prep, including management of maintenance contracts with external partners
• Facilitation of fault analysis within the team
• Analyzing process and equipment data for improvements and projects + reporting relevant KPIs
• Guiding and supporting projects within the department
• Managing and optimizing technical documentation (spare parts, P&IDs, energy files, etc.)
• Drawing up functional requirements for new engineering projects, supporting and following up on these projects.
• Identifying training needs for the team and ensuring that training courses are organized
• Ensuring compliance with all EH&S, GMP, and ISO guidelines, working closely with the EH&S department to this end

      • You have a master's degree
      • You have solid knowledge, experience, and interest in all techniques within a utilities department (steam, compressed air, ice water, HVAC, etc.). Knowledge of thermodynamics is an advantage
      • You have solid experience in managing, leading, and coaching a team, and you find this rewarding
      • You enjoy working in a team, but can also work independently
      • You have strong analytical skills and work in a precise and results-oriented manner
      • You have good communication skills.
      • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch; knowledge of English is an advantage.
      • You have a basic knowledge of Google programs and the Office package.
