What are we looking for?
As Software Developer, you work in the global development team of Reynaers Aluminium, who develops hardware, firmware and backend (Cloud) internally.
You are responsible for the software code written mostly in C, C++ & Python for our smart product portfolio: advanced motorization and controlling of very heavy sliding windows, tilting and access control devices (motors, sensors, actuators, etc.).
You work together closely with the Product Manager for Building Automation, the IOT Solution Architect and you also have an Electronic Support & Test Engineer at your disposal.
As part of our digitalization strategy, we are investing in ‘connecting’ our smart building products to the cloud to offer new user experience like Alexa voice control.
You deliver technical support in your field of expertise towards:
Internal (research & development)
Technical Support and Market responsible
Training Tea

You have a master degree in ICT or engineering and at least 3 years work experience.
You have software development experience in C or C++
You are interested in the big picture of an embedded project (Hardware, Connectivity & IOT Cloud).
Your work is hands-on. You will join a small team, focusing on ‘electronic – connected’ product development which means you have to be comfortable in technologies.
You have a multi-competencies mentality. You are experienced in firmware or cloud development but interested to grow a complementary domain. As developers we are happy to develop people too!
