TREMEC in Zedelgem is part of the international TREMEC Corporation with over 2,100 employees,
spread across four locations in Mexico, the USA and Belgium. At our entity in Zedelgem (near
Bruges), our more than 200 engineers and colleagues work on the development, testing, prototyping
and production of high-technology transmission systems and subsystems for high-performance top?of-the-line vehicles!
Your role
• As a Test Engineer, you will be testing and validating newly developed high-tech
transmissions, clutches and mechatronic systems, using different developmental test
benches.
• Starting from a test request, you perform increasingly complex tests on prototypes and pre?series parts.
• You take ownership for all phases of the testing process to reach a successful outcome.
• Based on your knowledge and experience, you will analyze and discuss the results with the
development team.
• You are involved in both the development and preparation of the tests and in the
development of high-end test bench systems.
• You support the assembly of test components and set-ups needed to perform the tests.
• You are part of our Test Lab Team and will report to the Test Lab Team Leader.
Your profile
• You have a BSc Industrial Engineer / Civil Engineer / Electro-Mechanics or equivalent
engineering degree.
• You are strong in analytics and problem solving and you possess a critical mindset.
• Experience with MatLab is a strong plus.
• You are good at modelling physical events.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
• You are able to work independently.
