It holds spare parts of every brand, which means all spare parts of the truck brands, the construction equipment, the busses and the marine- and industrial engines. You are part of the Warehouse Engineering team that is included in the Operational Support structure.

Do you just love to ...
• You are responsible for (new) packaging solutions (INB and OUTB
• You are responsible for cost follow up, cost savings, assortment reviews on all our packaging
• You are the contact person concerning packaging questions within CDC Ghent for both internal and external departments
• You work together with the quality team to improve our packaging solutions, this to prevent customers claims
• You work together with the Global Commercial packaging team, (you help to reduce repack activities within CDC Ghent)
• You develop logistic process flows based on the needs of the organization
• You develop handling tools to facilitate our activities in CDC Ghent
• You take part in continuous improvement activities and kaizen workshop
• You take the lead in projects to support our operations

Are you the one?
• Master’s Degree in engineering or equal with proven and relevant experience
• Able to combine theory and reality with a holistic view on packaging issues
• Basic project management skills
• Experience in optimization of logistic flows
• Good communication skills
• Hands on and able to define priorities
• Change management, networking ability, cross functional work
• Team player
• Fluently in Dutch and English
This is a temporary assignment of 1 year.
