YOUR MISSION

We are seeking an R&D Software engineer to be an integral part of a talented team of Software Engineers. In your role you will be responsible for the technical analysis and development of software which is improving the lives of patients by creating better surgical outcomes.

Within the R&D team every member takes ownership of their work and is involved in every part of the development. From scoping the feature over architectural design to the actual programming and eventual testing and maintaining of the code.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- The things you can or have -

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in in this position
- Excellent feeling for software design and architecture
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming using modern C++ and Qt
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Python
- Basic understanding of Docker
- You are familiar with a Linux environment
- You have a passion for software development
- You have the basic understanding of today’s best practices in software development (i.e. version control, debugging/profiling, continuous integration, code reviews, …)
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
