Codifly is a young company from Aalst, specialized in developing innovative apps. We help companies, mostly startups, building high-interactive web applications, from backend to user interface. We strongly believe in the web and IoT and are fully convinced that the technological evolution has just begon. As leaders, we try to make the web more accessible to contribute in the way we live, communicate, work and play. More specific, we use the latest JavaScript-technologies (React.js, React-Native, Node.js, ES6/ES7, Redux, GraphQL, Apollo, Angular2…) to build web as well as native applications with a strong visual identity and an optimal user experience, perfectly tuned to the needs of the end user.

During your internship, you will collaborate with our young and enthusiastic team on the development of such applications (web/native/server), written using above mentioned technologies. Hereby you will learn to use Agile-methods, from sprint planning to project tracking. Further you will learn to use contemporary software development tools (Gitlab, JIRA, Confluence, SourceTree/Git) and JavaScript-tools such as Webpack, TypeScript, Babel, Eslint and VS Code. You will learn how to prevent growing pains by consistently following best practices such as coding documentation, software testing and preventively refactoring.

As a prerequisite to become our intern, you:

* study towards a bachelor degree (or higher) in the field of informatics
* wish to do a web development internship as part of your studies
* are able to provide an internship agreement via your college or university
* are conversational in Dutch and English and fluent in at least one of them
* unify with our mission of reinventing the connected world
* identify with our core values
* have a basic understanding and deep interest of React, JavaScript, Git, ...
* are ready to work both on-site and remote, depending on the evolution of the COVID-19 crisis
* have an EU, EEA or Swiss citizenship or have a work permit valid in Belgium
